Responsibilities:

• Provision of analytical support to projects across the spectrum of our transportation planning business.
• Development and use of data processing tools to provide high quality inputs to modelling and appraisal activities.
• Work with macro and microsimulation modelling with guidance from more experienced staff.
• Attendance at technical Client meetings as required to present findings and outcomes of analytical work.
• Contribution to authoring technical reports and notes documenting work undertaken.

Here’s what you’ll need

• A Bachelor or a Master’s degree in a discipline such as Transportation, Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or related.
• Basic knowledge of transport systems planning, traffic modelling and forecasting.
• Basic knowledge of analytical tools: VISUM, VISSIM.
• Basic knowledge of supporting analytical tools: GIS, AutoCAD, Microstation.
• Basic knowledge of data analytical tools such as MS Excel, python, VBA, SQL etc.
• Willingness to develop and gain new experience in transport planning area, and work under the supervision of experts.
• Data analysis and communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills enabling work both independently and within a multidisciplinary, multicultural team.
• Good level of English.

As this role is at a junior level it is envisaged that significant training will be provided in order to enable the successful applicant to contribute to our project delivery teams.
